To provide Bachelor of Multimedia Systems (Honours) or Masters students with advanced skills in the presentation of their ideas, explorations and research in their chosen area of specialisation in multimedia and to encourage contact and the exchange of knowledge with practitioners in the industry. MMS4403A Multimedia Research Seminar A (to be offered in Semester 1) in conjunction with MMS4404 Multimedia Research Seminar B (to be offered in Semester 2) replaces MMS4403 Multimedia Research Seminar as it is deemed necessary to increase the unit workload from 6 points to 12 points in order to provide students with more comprehensive skills in the preparation and presentation of their research including the formal submission of a paper for a refereed conference.
