Obsolete Reasons for Introduction
This is a core second year unit in the course and aims to enhance the students' understanding of the multimedia development process, to give them a hands-on understanding of the techniques, tools and products used in multimedia systems, and to give them practical experience in the development of multimedia products,services and systems. The principal focus in this unit will be on the use of authoring tools, advanced graphics and sound in complex multimedia systems, and the management and control of the multimedia development process.
