Software Required:

1. Latest version of Sun J2SE SDK for Windows XP - free, download from http://java.sun.com/
2. Latest version of BlueJ for Windows XP - free download from http://www.bluej.org/
3. Latest free version of Winzip for Windows XP - free download from http://www.winzip.com/

• BlueJ requires system adminstrator to specify the location of Java Home Directory when being initially launched.
• Sun J2SE SDK requires system adminstrator to edit Windows XP's system variable 'PATH' to include the "bin" subfolder in Java's home directory(e.g. "c:\java_home_directory\bin") and the current directory represented with "." .
• All above software are required one week before teaching semester begins
