Reasons for Introduction

Obsolete Reasons for Introduction

This unit is the first of a sequence of studio units which are a compulsory component of the Bachelor of Multimedia Computing. This component of the course aims to show how the theoretical base for multimedia systems established in the other core units is expressed in system development practice. The unit aims to build on the students' knowledge of basic concepts from the first semester units by developing further their understanding of the multimedia development process and the tools and techniques used to manage and control it. The unit content will be integrated closely with that of the other core subject which is its co-requisite. In addition cross linkage between this unit and the BMM studio will be encouraged.
