20/07/2003 MMS1403 has been a unit within the SMS degrees for the past several years. This entry updates the unit for inclusion into the new Bachelor of Multimedia Systems (BMS) to be introduced in 2004.MMS1403 is a core first year unit in the Bachelor of Multimedia Systems and will cover the nature of the multimedia systems development process. The unit will investigate the activities involved in the systems development process; the tasks and responsibilities of the participants in the process and the attributes and competencies which are needed in order to carry out these tasks successfully. The unit gives a broad and balanced coverage of the traditional and object-oriented approaches to systems analysis and design.
