Obsolete Reasons for Introduction

This is a core unit for the Bachelor of Business Systems. It builds on the knowledge, skills, understandings and attitudes specified in BUS1021 and lays the foundations for understanding the basics of systems development. The unit gives students a clear view of the systems development process in its entirety before focussing on the analysis and design phases of the system development process and the role which the systems analyst performs within these phases. Students are introduced to several detailed analysis and design techniques. which prepare them with the knowledge, understandings and skills to carry out basic analysis and design.
