Reasons for Introduction

Created as part of the Master of information Technology and Master of Applied Information Technology Units - 2009

Reasons for Change (07 Dec 2017, 11:35am)

On 13/2/2012 - Reason for change added: Amendments to FIT5041 made on 7/2/2012 were considered by GPC 1/2012 and further considered by the Chair on 10/2/2012. GPC Executive approval was granted on 13/2 for changes to Objectives, Unit Content(Handbook Synopsis), Assessment and Pre-requisites to enable Semester 1,2012 implementation. GPC Executive approval was not granted for the change to unit name and unit abbreviation on the basis that unit name is a major change that has to be reported to Canberra. Removed change to unit name and unit abbreviation and reinstated to previously approved version.

On 7/2/2012 - The following reason for change was provided :A new lecturer and CE were appointed for S1, 2012 and it was decided that the content should be changed - as much of the current content was replicated in other units - and updated as much of the relevant content was dated.

20/2/2012 - Removed requirement for prerequisites to be MAIT-specific. Change to take effect from Semester 1, 2012.

18/11/2012 - Focus of unit has changed and name change required to reflect those changes

07/12/2017 - Unit disestablished at FEC 5/17 Item 7.3.
