CSE3475 Intelligent Applications for Interactivity and Entertainment [AI for Interactivity ]

Reasons for Introduction

Obsolete Reasons for Introduction

This subject teaches the use of artificial intelligence for applications involving Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). Knowledge of a variety of AI techniques for HCI is increasingly relevant to software engineers and system designers. These technologies are important in the commercial areas of games programming, search engine interaction, robot control, speech recognition and many other emerging application areas. The use of such techniques needs to be carefully considered in the project development lifecycle, particularly for novel domains. This subject is one unit in a new games suite for the Bachelor of Computing.
