Managing record structured data is one of the most important applications of computers and information technology. This unit introduces the basic concepts of database management systems.

This is not a change; first attempt of filling the avatar entry.

It is an elective enabling the students to learn about data management.

This unit is similar CSE2132, CSE9002. The CSE3316 has greater mathematical orientation as compared to the other units.

A good number of our students who will work in commercial and business establishments will be involved or using databases. This unit prepares our students for work in that area, as well as preparing students to persue research in the area.
