Reasons for Introduction
Obsolete Reasons for Introduction
This is an existing unit which we now wish to offer in summer semester. The Bachelor of Network Computing lists among its possible student career outcomes, those of Web Page Developer, Internet Applications Developer and Web Master. While the core of the degree provides a grounding for those wishing to follow such career paths, a more substantial development in Web based technologies is required for those interested in web based careers in particular. This unit builds on material covered in the subject CPE1003 Web Page Development and CPE2005 Database Systems in Networked Environments, to give students exposure to the knowledge and skills required to access databases through Web based interfaces.
