The common core unit FIT9004 Computer Programming for Business shares the same name as BUS9042. We are proposing that the unit name for BUS9042 be changed to Web Application Development to avoid confusion.

When FIT9004 was first proposed, the unit name was meant to be Computer Programming. However, the Postgraduate Coursework Subcommittee decided to add "Business" to the unit name to differentiate it from the technical common core. Somehow, the fact that another unit has the same name was overlooked!
